Griffin’s un-British remarks on Haiti

Victims of the Earthquake in Haiti

By inverting the crisis in Haiti to shame the political Establishment in the eyes of British voters, the populist BNP are shamefully trying to show ordinary voters that they are the only party prepared to stick up for the average Briton by exploiting local government failures over issues such as gritting and bitterly cold weather conditions.

Some, such as Lee Barnes, are claiming that the West’s concern for the bereaved and the victims of the worst humanitarian disaster in years is nothing more than white liberal guilt.  Griffin has even attempted to use the bible to justify his un-British and anti-Christian remarks.

Griffin doesn't believe in helping the victims of Haiti

Whatever the number of people who have died during this winter’s cold, surely there is nothing more British than the notion of compassion and our desire to give comfort to victims from around the world who are worse off than us?

Don’t be silly – Britain is not an ideological construct like the USA or France, so you can’t be un-British.

britain is as much an ideological construct as any other nation state – when people could walk between holland and east anglia, with no politicians imposing border controls, what was the ideological status of britain then? all definitions of what constitutes a state are ideological, imposed ny a ruling elite, and pay scant regard to the realities and practicalities of ordinary people…i wonder what would really happen if we got rid of all border control? people excercising freedom of movement only worries those who fear losing something or sharing something.

Treeplanter, yes you speak the truth if………..etc. The fact is that in this present world to have free borders and no control would be suicide, unfortunate but there you are. I think the majority of human beings on this earth are good people but they never seem to be the top of the chain, and never will.

  4. WTF says:

Well we are seeing the results of relatively free movement, even though people can’t walk here, they get here & the country is changing.
The question is do you like the change or not?
What is being lost & what is being gained?

  5. WTF says:

As for Haiti will anything change, despite all the money & aid pouring in?
I am willing bet no, as all the aid before seems to have made no difference & didn’t prepare them for this predictable earthquake.

Lets get our priorities right eh?

Whats more important our own people and country or Haiti?

Personally I couldn’t care less about Haiti’s fate which contrasts with the tories mindset who couldn’t care less about British people (especially northerners) fate!

Hot debate. What do you think? Thumb up 8 Thumb down 1

“Griffin doesn’t believe in helping the victims of Haiti”

    Nick Griffin:

“Mr Griffin said that the “horror of Haiti is shocking and it is only human to feel compassion for the innocent victims of this natural disaster.”

“All here are well paid and can afford to give. I will give my attendance allowance for today if every other British MEP will do the same. But our constituents cannot afford your generosity with their taxes,” Mr Griffin wrote.”

More drivel written by these anti british tories.

Polly, how can you lecture on christianity whenever you specialise in singing blood ballads, bestiality, and general agnostic parlance.

Acorn, thanks , I also have been wondering where these threats are or how they have been manifested. The last thing I will get into is threats, banter yes, threats no. I do not have to use threats as I have the ballot box.

Once again we see how these minions work. I am supposed to have issued threats against someone who I do not know the real name of and the address. This is a typical stoppage of free speech witnessed by all who use this site. If you continue to use this site you are demeaning youselves. Leave it to the likes of so called pauli. Now you see why you must vote BNP. Goodbye to my fellow travellers.
