BNP figures don't add up
The BNP have again claimed that only they have a solution to Britain’s fiscal deficit.
The budget deficit is undoubtedly the biggest debate today in British politics. If the BNP want to be taken seriously as a credible political party, they accordingly ought to have given this matter some serious thought. But then, as usual, their policy seems more interested in making scapegoats of foreign people rather seriously trying to solve this country’s problems.
The BNP’s current list of cuts seems to be :
- foreign aid – £8 bn
- the war in Afghanistan – £11 bn
- the cost of immigration – £13 bn
- leave the EU – £14.6 bn
Let’s say we accept their figures. The sum total of cuts then comes to about £32 bn.
The current budget deficit is £178 bn. The BNP’s cuts come to a sixth of that amount. These are all long standing BNP policies. None of them are new to the party post the financial crisis.
If the BNP think they alone can solve Britain’s fiscal problems, then what else exactly do they plan to cut?
Correction: someone’s New Year celebrations clearly took their toll. Those who spotted that our £32bn should have read £48bn are quite right.

£32bn PER ANNUM is the saving, meaning the debt, should we pay it off (and thats debateable as a country if we should) – would be payed off in less than six years unlike the current timescale for re-payment where our great grandchildren will be burdened with the same debt!!!
Where is Cameron and the toe-rag party going to make the cuts? We’ve been told on good authority he is going to stop free travel for pensioners, winter fuel payments, he is going to cut peoples dole, make the sick and disabled work!

The BNP economic policy is just a complete joke. How anyone can think their policies are suitable for the 21st century i do not know.
They have a good message on dealing with immigration and radical islam which for too long the mainstream political parties have been grossly incompetent on. However the rest of their policies would destroy this country faster than radical islam or the far left.

Which is reasonable chunk out of the deficit considering it will take years to pay off under present plans.
Cut a load of QUANGO’s & Blair’s security that’s a few million more towards it.
Once the books are opened up, I am sure a few more wasteful areas can be cut, also money to be recovered from legalised fraud, like the overpayments for public buildings that went on & many more examples.
If the BNP can’t add up then the present lot are off the scale in the remedial class for dunces over their adding up.

I must admit I have misread this article, The £178bn they are talking about is just the deficit in spending to tax income, not the debt.
So how would the tories close the spending gap then?
By taking it out on ordinary Brits and cutting vital services thats how! Taking money out of our pockets is self-defeating and damages our economy!
