Blunkett calls on BNP to disown party supporter’s attack on Queen

Rt. Hon. David Blunkett MP has called on the British National Party and Mark Collett, its General Election candidate in Sheffield Brightside, to distance themselves from foul-mouthed remarks aimed at the Queen made by a BNP blogger and supporter.

Yesterday, Nothing British exposed the BNP-supporting Green Arrow blog, run by Paul Morris, for calling Her Majesty a “liar and traitor to her own people” and called for “treason” and “sedition”.

Mr Blunkett told NB:

“Having maligned Winston Churchill and lauded Hitler to the rooftops, the BNP have now stooped to obscenities aimed at the Queen. They have managed in one hit to disavow the head of state and display a total lack of patriotism.”

The former Home Secretary’s comments come after NB contacted the BNP’s official press office asking them to condemn the remarks. Rather than do so, the BNP’s press officer called us “low-lifes” and “unpatriotic”. We gave the BNP two other chances later that afternoon to distance themselves by emailing them and Nick Griffin MEP, via his European Parliamentary email. We have received no reply from either.

Mr Blunkett then gave a direct challenge to Collett – who once called Sir Winston Churchill a “f****** c***” - to distance himself from the Green Arrow. Mr Blunkett said: “Given his own unbelievable views, I wonder whether Mark Collett might wish to make it clear as to whether he agrees with his BNP colleague?”

The BNP claims it is patriotic, but their refusal to offer a rapid condemnation of the GA’s remarks about some who has loyally served this country all her life is a disgrace.

The BNP have refused to distance themselves from the GA's remarks

UPDATE

Romford MP Andrew Rosindell has just contacted Nothing British to add his thoughts on the BNP’s refusal to condemn the GA’s unpatriotic and disgraceful remarks about the Queen:

“I am absolutely appalled at the despicable language used by the cowardly author of the Green Arrow blog.  Her Majesty The Queen has spent every day of her reign serving our nation and I am frankly sickened that someone could speak in such an offensive manner about our Head of State.

Her Majesty is treasured by the people of the United Kingdom, throughout the Commonwealth and the entire world.   This revolting tirade against our Monarch strikes me as being nothing short of treason itself.  It is perfectly clear to me that there is nothing British about the B.N.P.  Attacking The Queen herself in this way proves that!

The B.N.P.’s refusal to condemn these remarks clearly show how out of touch they are with the people of this country.”

Mark Collett is the mandy of the BNP. He just keeps coming back regardless of what particular indescretion he commits. I did enjoy the undercover documentary which featured him and other BNP figures actually showing what they believe, as opposed to NGs media savvy , sanitised for public consumption views. I just wish the BNP would just come out with it. The anti Islam stance is just a neat cover for what they have always believed. Im quite looking forward to seeing how this unfolds as Islam becomes the dominant religion over the coming century. As for mocking the disabled Sam, good on you, no one should be afraid to make a joke. Isnt that what the “PC gone mad” brigade keep saying when someone makes a “racist” joke??

Let’s be real about this, the BNP are not going to take any notice whatsoever of a hard line left wing MP who is on his way out & who proved to have dubious judgement on certain issues.

If people like the Green Arrow or Mark Collet says things in a public arena, then they are grown up enough to accept that there may well be a response that is hostile or critical, they know the game they’re in.
This applies to all public figures as David Blunkett knows.

We have already discussed the Queen’s loyalty at length.

Firstly, may i suggest you change the name of this anti British website to “Nothing British” because that is exactly what it is. The kind of people running this site just sum up everything that is wrong with this once great nation. Why should the BNP condemn the excellent Green Arrow website when all it does is print the absolute truth about what is being done to our country and it’s people. The Queen has had ample opportunity to step in and stop the complete sell out of our country but she has done nothing, worst still she is complicit in it’s destruction as are all the politicians who infest Westminster in the LibLabCon parties. It really does pain me to have to say it but our Queen is a traitor for what she has done regarding the signing of the EU treaties, she has sold out her own people to the illegal EU superstate without the consent of her subjects. How dare you try and defend someone who has allowed the planned genocide of the British people to continue for decades. The day will come, and soon, when the British National Party take power and begin the process of restoring our nation to it’s former greatness and traitors such as yourselves WILL be held to account for their crimes in a Nationalist court of law. You will pay dearly when judgement day arrives for aiding and abetting the destruction of my country and denying my daughter and millions like her the absolute right to grow up in the land her ancestors built and died for.
As you know, the anti British immigrant “Trevor Phillips” is currently trying to destroy the BNP in court for standing up for the indigenous population of this country, which he claims doesn’t exist. If the indigenous British don’t exist then who exactly are “ethnic minorities” a minority to then ??? If the indigenous British don’t exist then who exactly is the Queen supposed to represent. This is an absolute farce, the indigenous British are one of, if not “the” most homogeneous people on earth and evil Marxists like yourselves on this website should hang your heads in shame for helping to destroy the great nation that you were lucky enough to be born in to.

As for WC being a FC, I wouldn’t say that but I think there’s a few French who haven’t forgiven him for sinking the French fleet & might well use the phrase.
It is a matter of opinion if he was right or wrong to do that.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I would say that certain prominent members of the BNP aren’t exactly media savvy, they have a tendency to fall into elephant traps.
As the BNP have become more mainstream, I believe they do get sent on courses about handling the media but it seems to be a work in progress.

Well i wish he’d just come out and nail his flag to the mast and bloody well defend it!! We are aware where Griffin gained his political leanings from Mr Tyndall of the National Front.(his sexual leanings are a whole new debate) He isnt honest, he said how he enjoyed Mein Kampf and its particular bits on propoganda. Ill give the guy credit he has made the party more palatable to the public through management of public relations and the media. He’s shifted the momentum onto faith as opposed to race, he’s a slippery customer (as are most politicians) He reins in the nazi saluters as well as he can, but they are the core of the party. WTF highlights the point perfectly BNP types arent media savvy. Take a look at the london organiser in the picture, The shirtless beer-gutted idiot appears in front of a camera like that ….LOL. Have you ever seen a picture of any of our prominent politicians or prime ministers without a shirt ?? 30yrs ago it would have been a scandal to appear without a collar and tie. Just illustrates perfectly a point i made a while back(and backed up with stats). The BNP is generally a party for the least intelligent among us

  6. Fair play to Blunkett – but it should be noted that in many key constituencies Labour face strong opposition from the BNP either because of the latter actively canvassing former labour voters, or because of the core Labour “demographic” having had enough on election day and staying at home.

But this is an attack on Her Majesty, and therefore much more than a party political matter.

    I see posts still disappear.

“They mentioned “The Glorious Revolution” in the “History of Scotland” & seemed against it, I assume because they wanted a Scottish King?
It seems to have been a PR job.”

That is “popular history” which tends to be different from history. The Estates voted for it and Lowland Scots joined the Colours to stop the Teuchter revolt led by “Bluidy Clavers”. Glasgow erected a statue to William and that city’s City Chambers, as well as other cities has a painting celebrating the revolution.
I reckon that part of HM’s problem has been reigning in a time when the UK’s power has been constantly diminishing. Perhaps she should have joined some Cabinet meetings instead of relying too heavily on her advisors.

Just been on Green arrow for the second time…
They killed our democracy, they killed our economy, they are killing our culture, they killed our family life, our social life, our monarchy, they killed our Unified Kingdom, they killed our respect for politicians, they poisoned the minds of our children, they killed our industrial base, our national wealth, our gold bullion, and our right to reasonable protest. Great rabble rousing words but not really factual is it?
They killed our democracy.. How? we are still running first past the post and have been for a while now or are we discussing votes for women?
They killed our economy, again How? the downturn in manufacturing in Britain due to cheaper labour rates overseas? the closure of the mines and shipyards?
They are killing our culture lol, What culture ?bowler hats and how do you do? Britisah culture and language is the product of our naval superiority and our Empire. Culture constantly evolves, thats how it works.
Id go on but frankly its the same old far right crock of shit. One dark skinned man commits a crime …… all dark skinned people are criminals.
And just as an example of how i found one glaring error within 30 seconds … the radicalisation video of the kids playing with the AK47 filmed in Pakistan is quoted as saying “kill the infidels”
is incorrect. What he actually says is he will kill the jews.
Besides the term Kaffir wouldnt apply to a jew or a christiian…

I notice that in these “Nothing British” articles on this topic they don’t actually seem to deal with the substance of what the Green Arrow site was saying. They evade the point being made, and just throw out a load of condemning remarks in the hope that people will automatically side with them because it’s the Queen being criticized. As I have said here, I think the politicians from the Labour and Conservative parties are far more responsible for the EU treason than the Queen, but for sure I think the Queen should have been doing something to stand up against them and insisting on referendums where there was any transfer of power.

Anyway, the closest “Nothing British” seems to have come to an actual argument is accusing the BNP of being inconsistent or working a double standard: “when the rabble rousing Anjem Choudhury screams for Shariah law and says that the Queen should wear a burka, the BNP and the GA shout out treason… The BNP have one system of values when condemning Choudhury but apply another one for themselves.” (Maurice Cousins)

But this just seems to beg the question that the GA doesn’t indeed have a legitimate point against the Queen.
