BNP “victims” join student freedom of speech rally

BNP members Adam Walker, Pete Molloy, Mark Walker and an unidentified man protesting with students

The row following the NUS’s botched opposition to the proposed British National Party debate at Durham University (and the spineless response from police) raises serious questions about this sort of “no platform” activism. These photos tell their own story.

  • Four BNP activists (including Adam and Mark Walker, and Pete Malloy) pose as “victims” alongside Durham students.
  • Instead of fighting fascism, the NUS has to issue a humbling apology.
  • A Facebook group with thousands of supporters in favour of the challenge to the BNP.
  • Andrew Brons and Chris Beverley, who are not good debaters, have escaped an embarrassing show-down.
  • BNP policies, which NB have shown are ludicrous, are not being challenged.

No one thinks that the BNP should not be given uncontested platforms to espouse their hate. But they should be challenged. This can only happen if opponents of extremism and segregation are given a chance to debate the BNP in contested environments.

It is called self preservation, all this negative karma is keeping them up at nights.
They are sneaking postings on, in the hope that underemployed trolls like me don’t post a comment on it but it ain’t working, so Maurice’s cyber shredder has been busy.

If a white man could get full time work, he hasn’t the time for this marlarkey.

Your allowed to speak of the positive side of multiculturism (whatever they are, when there at home), but if you dare speak of the negative side of multiculturism ( ask trident, victims of 7,7, kris donalds family etc) you get goverment, and goverment funded organisations jump on you from a great hieght, fortunatly even the brain washed students are waking up to the fascism that already exsists within our goverment, they may not be ready to vote for a party such as the BNP, but thanks to the goverments “magabe style tactics” the seeds have been sown!!

  7. Annon says:

You need to look at this argument from both angles, the BNP scream about their rights to freedom of speech being degraded yet on their own website they quash that same freedom of speech by deleting any comment that isn’t in favour of the BNP.

And no matter what the bNP supporters/members here may say about it the fact is its true I have in the past many posts on the BNP website that were instantly deleted because I asked question about their polices etc.

So before claiming your freedoms are being quashed look at what the BNP as a party do themselves.

Not that I am against the BNP being allowed to attend such events as personally having seen Nick Griffin failed Question Time appearance and the performance of Chis Beverley on the Radio 5 programme after QT well frankly they both damaged the BNP by what they said and turned more voters away than many anti-BNP websites could do in a month.

So I am all for allowing the BNP to appear on TV because each time they do they mess up and say something that puts voters off them like Nick Griffin in the EU Parliment saying “Sink a few immigrant boats” I bet than won eerrr NO more votes.

I have seen some anti comments on the BNP site.
Well they probably could let a few more reasoned anti comments through, I guess.

Shock horror, that they don’t even print all my comments either.
I guess this is more your forum & I have seen complaints from BNP members that the Daily Mail won’t accept their comments & I have also found it difficult to get any comment posted there.

Everbody has limits to free speech I guess?

J E, Have you not seen the interview Nick Griffin did with the BBC where he used the same words?

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8141069.stm

Really if you want to defend Nick Griffin you should at least be aware of the words he used. Have a listen to him in the interview and see for yourself.

And dont prattle on about freedom of speech when you delete most pro-BNP comments on this site yet let the insane off-subject ramblings of scum pauli through!

When the facts are supplied and they do not suit NB’s beliefs, the post is erased.

I am not a BNP member and I don’t know if they erase posts or not. If they do, then like this site, it is wrong.
Nobody should be afraid of the truth.

I know he repeated the italian idea to sink immigrant boats and happen to agree with this idea. But you are taking it out of context either deliberately or cos you have been reading too much uaf propaganda. what you failed to mention is that he meant it as a way of punishing the human traffickers who owned the boats, and at the same time stopping the trade and immigrants. What you have also failed to mention is that he also said that the immigrants would be provided with liferafts and towed back to libya. (a brilliant idea)

JE Let me point out what you said previously:

You said something about Nick Griffin saying “he said take them off the boats and deport them in the proper way” or something alone those lines.

Yet watching the interview (in Nick Griffins own words) he said “throw them a life rafts” no mention of deporting in the correct manner.
