Nick Griffin is continuing his world trip of extremist organisations, with an attempted speaking tour of America.
According to OpEdNews, after his first appearance at conference American Renaissancewas cancelled (the hotels in Washington decided they’d rather not host white nationalists) and his second invite at Kenyon College, Ohio was rescinded (society president Taylor Somers learnt of Griffin’s bigoted views), Griffin has finally found a venue that will take him.
An organisation called Sons of Liberty has invited Griffin to speak at Michigan State University about the threat attempts to combat climate change have to national sovereignty. Jordan Zammit, the society’s president, apparently believes that Griffin’s views “will greatly contribute to the marketplace of ideas which is a fundamental aspect of a collegiate education.”
Yesterday, we reported how Griffin is speaking at a student conference in Flanders. Today we learn he is (attempting) a speaking tour of America. We know Griffin has to travel a long way to find people who share his racist and bigoted views, but perhaps as an elected MEP he should focus rather more on helping out his constituents?

Update: Green Arrow informs us that after his first two events were called off, Nick Griffin has finally got the message and cancelled his trip to the US altogether

Why do they insist on calling the BNP and Nick Griffin extremist?
