Nothing British, in partnership with the Centre for Social Cohesion, have published a report by Edmund Standing and Alexander Meleagrou-Hitchens that highlights the potential threat from white supremacists committed to an agenda of violence against racial minorities.
Read the Blood_&_Honour report here.
The report is covered in today’s News of the World, here with Patrick Mercer MP calling for greater vigilance.
Denis MacShane MP writes in the forward to the report,
“Like their jihadist counterparts, neo-Nazis are filled with hate, are conspiratorial and are prepared (and determined) to use extreme violence to achieve their political aims. If we want to reduce the threat we face from far-right extremism, it is imperative that new systems be put in place, allowing pre-emptive strikes against this budding threat.”
The report lists three incidents of recent neo-Nazi-related threats:-
● In July, Yorkshire police raided a neo-Nazi terror cell with international links. They seized the largest suspected terrorist arsenal since the IRA bombings of the early 1990s. Twenty properties were raided and over 300 weapons and 80 bombs were discovered by counter-terrorism detectives. The hardware included rocket launchers, grenades, pipe bombs and dozens of firearms. Several people were charged, and over 30 were questioned over the incident.
● In September, Neil Lewington, a follower of B&H, was jailed indefinitely for attempting to launch a bombing campaign against non-white Britons. In his flat, police discovered a bomb-making factory and neo-Nazi literature. Court reports said that Lewington wanted to emulate his ‘heroes’ – David Copeland, the Soho bomber, and Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma bomber.
● In May, Terence Gavan, a card-carrying member of the BNP, was arrested after police raided his home. In January 2010, he was convicted on terrorism charges and sentenced to 11 years in prison, after a stockpile of nail and ball-bearing bombs, shotguns, improvised explosive devices and pistols was found at his house.
It is important not to overstate these neo-Nazi anecdotes. Britain is not about to turn into the Fourth Reich. Al-Queada remains the bigger threat.
However, it is important that we remain vigilant towards people with an ideological commitment to creating violence between people of different races. In 2001 security services tracked young Islamist radicals at outward bound camps that seemed harmless at the time. Four years later, some of those men had become terrorists who sought to kill innocent civilians on July 7 and 21, 2005.
We must not make the same mistake again.

Yet more sensationalist nonsense!
This has nothing to do with the BNP but everything to do with taking the spotlight away from muslim extremism even though we are on a ’severe’ alert footing because of them!
This is the mainstream trying to divert public concern & fear in a time of crisis in the run up to the General Election!
Truly nauseating!

Davey,
In case you didn’t read to the bottom, the report makes it crystal clear that it is does not recommend that resources are switched from covering the threat of Islamist terrorism.
In fact, it was the complacency of our secret services towards the possibility of a home-grown terror threat that makes it all the more important that the police maintain sufficient coverage of the sort of white supremacists that advocate violence and inspire others to commit crimes against innocents.
It is important not to overstate these neo-Nazi anecdotes. Britain is not about to turn into the Fourth Reich. Al-Queada remains the bigger threat.
However, it is important that we remain vigilant towards people with an ideological commitment to creating violence between people of different races. I think the reason you get “lone wolves” is the fact, that there is such a small support network for such extreme views, it hasn’t become mainstream but you always have a few who think that way.
Most of it is fantasies of one sort or another, you have a handful who have acted out to varying degrees.
On the other hand jihadists have a world wide support network & plenty of support here as well.
Dealing with such a monster is a lot harder work than a handful of “lone wolves”.
The police, security services & politicians seem too lazy & prefer going for the easy target rather than something that has widespread support amongst a certain community.

In the words of Judith Popinski, a holocaust survivor living in Malmo, Sweden
“I never thought I would see this hatred again in my lifetime, not in Sweden anyway…This new hatred comes from Muslim immigrants. The Jewish people are afraid now.”
Perhaps NB would like to try convincing Mrs Popinski that it is the ‘far-right’ she should be worried about and not the Muslims who burnt down her local Synagogue.
You see NB while you’re running around chasing ghosts neo-Nazi Muslims are on the rise, a quick google search and you’ll find hundreds of images of sieg-heiling Muslims. Do these Muslims fit into your category of ‘racial minorities at risk from the far-right’?

It’s also funny how the three main (and corrupt) parties never agree on anything except one thing: the destruction of the BNP. Why’s that? It’s because they know that there corrupt days are numbered. You only have to open and read your local papers, to be able to see who are responsible for the majority of gun crime, knfe attacks and mugging where I come from.
When we first moved here seven years ago, a couple of miles outside North London (we moved out with our children to escape this, white flight is the term used by many) the local papers reported the odd car broke into and smashed windows in the area, But year on year we have watched the levels increase, now knife and gun crime is out of control from the same people we moved away from.
All I want is for my Children my Family to feel safe and be safe. This is from personal experience also, over the years dealing with the public in my line of work.

I have always felt that the very first place immigrants should go is Downing Street or maybe to a camp site in the grounds of Buckingham Palace (or to be fair the odd suite of rooms). The powers that be could have a nice old wallow in multiculturalism then.
Before Dave got his stranglehold a leading grandee of the Tory party wrote a piece about how it’s all very well for the ruling elite to impose mass immigration on this country – they don’t have to live with them.

At the time I puzzled why a certain unpopular lady MP of marxist persuasion wore an anti – stab jacket while visiting a kebab shop in her constituency. Surely that was an admission that the multicultural experiment hadn’t worked?
Then it dawned on me. She had no shame or surprise because she knew perfectly well what had actually happened. Diverse groups of people have been abandoned to sink or swim in this country . Nothing has been put in place to aid integration and these immigrants are strangers in a strange land continuing the lives they led in their own countries.

Actually IMO this was one of the big lies fed to us by Liebour. They pretended to us that multiculturalism was integration whereas they told many immigrants that, in return for votes, they could live in their own little enclaves with their own leaders still in charge.
This is why we have had a bizarre situation where people, apparently desperate to come and live in this country, have no intention of embracing its culture.

Nonsense!
The BNP are losing councillors and haven’t won a council by-election for well over a year. They came last in two council by-elections this past week and failed to nominate in another by-election where they had previously stood a candidate. They also came last in four by-elections the previous week. Hardly the performance of a party preparing for power!
They recently lost one of their safest council seats in Nuneaton and the leader of the BNP group on Stoke council resigned from the party and will fight the BNP candidate in the forthcoming general election!

Curious this. Text that concerns Zionism and Anti-Semitism, though completely irrelevant to the issue at hand, feature here CONSTANTLY as the work of Mr Mark Cousins. The former employee of the Conservative Friends of Israel. The one last week on Griffin’s attendance of an anti-Islam conference, that erm…, didn’t at all mention Islam; was a particularly stuniing example.
But DARE to make a comment that concerns these subjects as a visitor to this site, and it will be dismissed as irrelevant or conspiracy theorizing and marked for deletion.

Dave, “we” havn’t made this mess. Sucssesive governments since the 50’s have engineered this mess. Now the lie is that immigrants came here and still do to do the jobs that we (the native Briton) wont do. NO, incorrect, immigrants do the Jobs we wont do for the measly pay offered. Desprate immigrants will, driving pay and conditions downward. This is all encouraged by the government backed Unions who also dont care.
