Are they honestly trying to say that we don't already live in a country where the children have been systematically indoctrinated? At one time soaps were didactic ie the baddy always got his come-uppance. In fact, am I right in thinking that it used to be viewed as wrong to portray the idea that crime pays (in films and on the box)? This site is really struggling to say bad things about good ideas!
