The BNP say they are the only true patriots. But their words and actions tell a different story.
Nick Griffin continues to tolerate and promote Mark Collett who claims the Royal Family have “betrayed” Britain and should be ”wiped out”. Collett has said,
“The Royals have betrayed their people. When we’re in power they’ll be wiped out and we’ll get some Germans to rule properly.”
Griffin used the Buckingham Palace summer 2009 invite to his political advantage, knowing that it would mask the unpatriotic beliefs of BNP core supporters who believe the Queen is a “traitor” a “liar” and a “bitch”.
Equally, the BNP refuses to condemn supporters such as the Green Arrow, who said on the Queen’s 2009 Christmas message:
“F**k you and your descendants you treasonous bitch”.
The Green Arrow then wrote:
“She is no Monarch of England or the UK, she is a craven coward who has betrayed Our Trust … The Queen has committed Treason, we must now commit Sedition as Our Patriotic Duty. Long Live the British National Party.”
In January 2010 the Green Arrow, a BNP supporting blog, attacked the Queen for signing government legislation. The GA author said on his personal blog: “[She is a] liar and a traitor to her people”.
Ordinary voters will have nothing to do with a hypocritical and unpatriotic party that refuses to condemn revolting insults to the Queen.

The constitutional monarchy if allowed to run properly gives us balance and protection. One example is the crisis in Australia which was ended when HM’s representative closed the parliament and ordered an election. Many sqealed at the time and yet later admitted that it got the country running again.
Another example is the attempted military coup in Spain. The king reminded the generals that HE was the heard of the army and was giving them a direct order to stand down.
The monarch witholds some powers from the government of the day as a protection for the nation and constitution. This can only work if the monarch does not rubber stamp the political demands of the government of the day.
Harold Wilson was anti-monarchy (like so many politicians in that party, he did not advertise the fact, lest it affect his career) until he becam PM. He was amazed at the Queen’s grasp of the matters affecting the government and her advice to re-think things, hinting that a former administration had come against problems.
As he pointed out later, the monarchy is a constant part of the government with experience and training that individual PMs do not have.
Unfortunately, HM does seem to have been rubber stamping in the last few years. I do not believe that she should be forced to abdicate but a regency would allow her to take things easier in her remaining years.

What a clever idea this blog is, the BNP supporters are their own worst enemy. I thought that the comments section was heavily loaded for the BNP but it just exposes them as, well, loons. It all death, war,zionism, and “did the holocaust happen”? as if these are hot questions on the lips of the british voting public

You confuse concerned citizens on this site with the sheep who fote Tory/Liberal/Labour because their parents did.
I am not a BNP member (I used to be a Conservative party member until that party abandoned it’s principles). I want more honesty and less political correctness in politics and I will not get that in any of the other parties.
