On Saturday 13th March, Roger Phillips made the above remarks on Facebook to Labour’s Baroness Uddin.
Roger Phillips is the BNP’s West Wales deputy organiser.
Does anybody else think this seems a very aggressive and misogynistic way to talk about your female political opponents? Can anyone tell us whether this threat to kill amounts to a criminal offence? Whether this amounts to an offence or not, there is nothing British or civilised about using threatening and demeaning language towards women.

Some BNP figures have a really hard time making measured arguments against dissent. They seem to lack the skill, or the vocabulary or the restraint necessary to persuade others, so resort to violence or threats of violence.

£100,000 claimed for an empty flat in Kent. She actually lives in the East End and IMO could easily walk the distance from there to the Lords (only 4 miles). And from the BNP, Jonathan Bowden nails a lot on concepts. For nationalism, as political movement to be successful, for me, It should be organic, adaptable, inclusive and un-polarised. A Nationalist government should distributed power to the local level. When any government becomes top heavy it invariably becomes totalitarian. Please provide a link to a senior mainstream party official who threatened to hang an opponent – or something similar. If officials in normal parties do something stupid, or have a rush of blood to the head, they pay for it by being sacked.

Just to go back to a few points BNP supporters made about capital punishment.
Capital punishment is a quick and easy way out for the crook. there is no punishment in it really, the people who suffer most from their death is their families, not the person held accountable. Plus mistakes do happen, innocent people will die.
I would imagine jail to be much worse, being stuck in the same room day in day out, looking at the same cream walls for 20hrs a day. showering in dirty showers with how ever many crooks, s*****g in a hole in the corner of your room, eating the same cheap food every day. That is a far worse punishment in my eyes than being killed. And before anything is said about prison living conditions not being as bad as they should, with access to PS3’s and xboxes etc, I know people who work for the prison service and they assure me that it is anything but the case. These items are rewards for months and months of good behaviour, and even when the prisoners do get access to them, they are lucky if they get an hour.

June 2009 – Tom Flynn wrote: Last week I received a death threat . . . from a leading member of a democratically elected political party . . . The threat was delivered despite the presence of a camera crew from one of the major TV networks and the individual made it clear that he knew who I was and how to find me. He told me that next time I set foot in Southend (I am Labour’s PPC for Southend West), I was ‘going to die’. . . As you may have guessed, these were not the actions of a mainstream, respectable political party. Anyone who has been involved with the anti-fascist movement will recognise these as the tactics of the British National Party
July 2009 – from Metro interview with Jon McClure: I got death threats from BNP supporters and I put a track about it online two hours later called Manifesto/People Shapers.
According to Indymedia: the death threats were probably in return for being involved in a Love Music, Hate Racism event. Jon said: The BNP claims to be democratic – but this shows that their behaviour is fundamentally at odds with democracy. It shows them up as a bunch of thugs.
September 2009 – Epping Forest Guardian reported: Independent councillor Stephen Murray said he had been verbally intimated and threatened with a dog by youths after he spoke out against a BNP leaflet claiming the Murray Hall had been turned into a mosque by a prayer group.
March 2010 – from Stand Up To Hate: BNP’s deputy leader for Wales is going to have to go to court to face allegations of death threats against a You Tube user. Roger Phillips who went by the usernames Wellard67 and WalesBNP is well known on the website by the anti-BNP activists. One of these activists a Mr Mark Watson was on the receiving end of Mr Phillips’ anger when he rang him and threatened to kill him.

I am requesting examples of when someone from let’s say the Tories or Labour, threatened to kill a political rival using words such as “After the election we’re gonna string you up!” Or something similar.
It’s unthinkable and if anyone was to say something so ridiculous they would be kicked out immediately. It just goes to show how different the BNP is from the normal parties. BNPers like ARMYBNP make threats of violence nearly every day on this site. I don’t believe he is serious (I bet he’s a Walter Mitty type) – but a court may beg to differ.

That’s the way of the free thinker. As for a BNP mindset, I don’t know what that is. Free thinkers don’t have mindset’s. At least one that could be categorised. The vehemently Anti BNP do though. What would a “free-thinker” be doing supporting the BNP?
You hint at support for right-wing libertarianism and are explicit about being against “top down” politics and their link with totalitarianism. Doesn’t this all conflict with Griffin’s uber-centralised BNP where local candidates are brushed aside for ex-National Fronters from head office and local branches’ funds are also raided by head office? Local branches can’t even have their own official BNP blog – it’s all from the centre. Griffin is a control freak.
What about the complete lack of internal democracy in the BNP? The members can’t vote for Advisory Council members and have no way to influence or formulate policy with a vote.
What about the high-tax policies of mass-nationalisation? There would be no local autonomy in a BNP Britain. Griffin seems keen to push the “socialist” part of National Socialism at the moment. Are you happy with that?
Maybe all your libertarian ideals ideals are not really that important to you. Maybe “sending ‘em back” is your main political objective and you trust Griffin to do that.

Peter, you really are a numskull. What Roger Phillips was saying is that WHEN the BNP come to power, which they will then all the politicians that have committed TREASON will be put on trial and made to answer for those crimes. Those complicit in the wholesale and deliberate destruction of everything we hold dear should and will be made to answer for what they have done. You may not of worked out what is happening to our country but many of us have. This isn’t a game you fool, the true British people are being systematically exterminated and ethnically cleansed from their homeland by a Liberal elite who seized power decades ago, they are in the final stages of their plan which is nothing less than pure evil and even puts the likes of Stalin and Hitler to shame. Their goal is a world government and a planet of mixed race people with no homeland, identity or roots.
