Last Friday the BNP released their manifesto for the upcoming General Election.
We expected them to use this opportunity to row back on some of their more extreme policies, but their policy platform remains as ever authoritarian, racist and fiscally illiterate.
The BNP hope that the media’s eye will be caught by their eye catching annoucments on defence spending or climate change, and miss the small print, the large gaps in their spending plans and the many distasteful policies that still remain.
We’ve put together a briefing note that spells out:
- how the BNP remain a race obsessed party. The manifesto contains ominous mention of a “long-term resettlement programme” of third world nationals
- the £80 bn hole in the BNP’s spending plans
- which policies the BNP have kept, which they’ve quietly dropped – and which they’re trying to downplay
You can download the briefing note here.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, do take a look at our BNP shop as well, where you can explore the true effects BNP rule would have on everyday life.

Just looking at this just shows how much this is a manifesto scrawled on the back of fag
packet after a five pint round. Full of populist fodder for supporters and soft sympathisers

Not a bad analysis, NB, you’ve obviously had your head buried in the BNP manifesto for the last few days!
You claim to have identified an £80bn hole in their spending plans but, having looked at your report and the BNP manifesto, you appear to have made the simplistic assumption that a BNP government would reduce the deficit by £100 bn in one year! I’m not sure where you picked this up from? I can see that the BNP quite rightly have an aspiration to reduce the debt/GDP ratio to 30-40% but I would expect this to be achieved over the lifetime of a parliament. This would equate to approx £20 bn per annum. This would actually give the BNP a slight budget surplus of £3 bn
Anyway, it’s good to see NB debating policies for a change rather than the usual regurgitation of lies. Keep it up, after all this is what democracy is supposed to be about!

Jim – there’s a difference between a deficit and the level of debt. The BNP need to remove the structural deficit before they can even begin to think about getting the levels of overall debt down.

I have read the BNP’s manifesto with care, and have very few reservations. Their policies are clear and mostly easy to implement. At the beginning there would be some disruption to everyday life, but the changes would immensely improve the prognosis for the UK both economically and socially. Such changes will eventually be forced on us, so better to implement them while we are still in control of circumstances. Any initial market pessimism would soon retreat once the will and confidence of the British people came out of hibernation, where it has been lying low for decades. Eventually a Royal Commission will be needed to identify the powers behind the puppet politicians who brought on this decline.

I agree with Nigel. Left, Right and Middle Political Avenues at present are way too exaggerated. “Blind them with Science” comes to mind. “Finance is the way forward” Whatever!! Ok Labour, Conservative, Lib Dem, Financially you really truly cannot honestly say that you “Can do” something someone else “Cannot do”!!! The Proof is in the pudding!!!
Its all words no implementation between the Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem and has been said for god knows how many years. What on earth has happened to this country come on fellow country men you are so proud to be British!! We fought for this bloody country remember!! What did our Fathers, Mothers, grand parents and great grand parents have to go through!!! I believe that if we give BNP a go then what is the worst that can happen? Someone please please enlighten me. I cannot stand the insecurity of living in this country due to immigrants any longer, due to the safety of my beloved children and their livelihood.

Their policies are simply barmy. It’s not really a surprise to hear that many BNP supporters think that they are great. What you have to remember is that the BNP supporter is exactly that (a BNP supporter!) and not likely to be exactly blessed in the common sense department.
Of course boys, you CAN promise everything to everyone, reduce every tax, raise the standard of living across the board without reducing spending.
You have no MPs – next Friday you will still have no MPs – your not over the hill yet but you have a good view of the valleys below!
