BNP linked blog says refugees should “live on the streets in cardboard boxes”

The Green Arrow blog, which supports and has links to the BNP, in an article on the treatment of British soldiers states:

“We need a British National Party government that will give soldiers who have served their country, jobs in the police, prison service, Fire Brigades, etc when they leave the armed forces and make them priority cases for social housing. Bugger the immigrants and bogus refugees – let them live on the streets in cardboard boxes.”

Nothing British believes that while there are serious questions that needed answering about the covenant between the government and the armed forces, forcing immigrants and refugees on to the street to live in card boxes is not the mark of a civilised society.

I hear the tories live in big houses especially that nice Mr Heseltine, he was on QT the other night saying million pound houses were pretty average down Fulham way, so anyway why don’t they house some refugees in their spare rooms & put the Green Arrow to shame or are they just NIMBY’s?

I think the red poppy looks lovely on Nick Griffin and aligns itself with the BNP very well. As an ex-serviceman, I have always found the red poppy offensive. It is the poppy of war, hatred, nationalism and patriotism – everything the BNP stand for. I have actually been asked by the police to remove my white poppy even when I tempered it with a red one.

This week the British Government made lucrative arms deal with Gaddafi and Brown can be seen shaking hands with him. The Government has for years tried to avoid paying out soldiers who suffered gulf war syndrome. And what about boys of 14 and 15 shot for desertion – disgusting. As for Haig’s name appearing on the poppy for so many years, another insult. There are plenty of other atrocities all hidden swept under the carpet and written out of the national curriculum (I am by the way a history teacher). The Bengal Holocaust (1940 something – actually the first time the term ‘holocaust’ was used.) That left 4 million dead. The rehearsal D Day Landings on Bournemouth beach scuppered by German U boats – the dead (I think several thousand) were kept secret for years and only 20 years ago was a plague placed on the beach.) Lots more stuff. So,l the red poppy, as it shares the same values, suits them well.

“a plague placed on the beach”? Oops!
    You didn’t mean that.

Anyway can you tell us about Bengal Holocaust?

So Gordon wearing the poppy & shaking hands with Gaddafi makes him worse surely as he (& others) sent the soldiers to war.

You seem against PC but also against patriotism etc?

Nick, if you read up on Earl Haig you might be surprised. He was one of the better generals of the war and not the ruthless, uncaring warmonger portrayed by amateur historians.

    What 14 or 15 year-olds were shot?

You should be aware that India (the sub-continent) suffered famines before the French and British arrived and still do. That is not genocide. India and Pakistan are more interested in nukes than feeding their people.
The word “holocaust” has been around a long time:
[Middle English, burnt offering, from Old French holocauste, from Latin holocaustum, from Greek holokauston, from neuter of holokaustos, burnt whole : holo-, holo- + kaustos, burnt (from kaiein, to burn).]

The D-Day rehearsal to which you refer was in Devon, not Bournemouth and was attacked by E-boats, not U-boats.
Perhaps you should stop “teaching” history.

“well if you kill someone ,it is murder, correct?” [Sam]. Is it really? Is someone jumps out in front of a train, is his death “murder”? If one knocks a violent mugger to the ground and he dies, is his death “murder”?
    Murder is a legal term.

    Hmmmm some odd bits there!
The Bengal famine i know was actually one of the things the british military tried to stop. The protein powder drink they used for the famine was actually used in Belsen to try and save the thousands of emaciated victims of the holocaust. It didnt work much to the frustration of the british doctors greeted with the sight of tens of thousand unburied bodies and starving civillians. Dont you just love experiments in racial purity !

Hmmm theyre not really that interested in nukes, now they have them.
But if you want to talk about the partition and how it was a deliberate attempt to keep the two nations fighting for as long as possible to stifle their development we can go with that.
