Nick Griffin, the BNP leader, has been using his position as an MEP to emphasise his party’s concerns for local communities across the country. Through a series of high profile social action stunts Griffin has been visiting a factory in Liverpool, where there are potential job cuts, the Three Owls Brid sanctuary in Rochdale and visited local communities to share their concerns about local mosques.
We should expect more of this sort of activity in the build up to the general election. Not only does it help to raise the profile of the BNPand cement an pro-active image in voter’s minds, but it also contributes to softening the image of a party that is mired in courruption, criminality and violence.

[is mired in courruption, criminality and violence.
That’s rich coming from a Tory supporting blog so soon on the heels of the MP’s expenses scandal and while we’re mired in two Tory party supported unwinnable wars that have needlessly slaughtered countless hundreds of thousands of civilians.
Then Griffin behaves decently and you somehow manage to attack him for that — you do not look reasonable, you look desperate.

What is wrong with what Nick Griffin is doing, it is what he has been elected to do. Not realy stunts as you put it.
What do you expect Nick to do when people get in touch with him expressing their concerns.
He does speak a lot of sense in the Halewood car plant video.

Sam
I’m intrigued by your regular comments on this site – Always so full of hate, always so cliche-ridden! Do you represent the official Cameroon view on a party which is increasingly occupying the ground previously held by the Tories? Does Tim Montgomerie write your script?
Please at least put forward some rational arguments on why you oppose the growth of a democratic nationalist party, and stop behaving like Witchfinder General Matthew Hopkins

Yes if Sam Pauli is your average tory supporter then God help us when Cameron gets in.
He/she is blinded by the very hate they see in everybody else.
If you can’t see that islam is the real threat to you too bad.
I’d rather be a “nazi boy” than a blind stooge like you who can’t see the reality of anything.
