Hmm. Isn’t that a ‘racist’ statement? What if I had said, ‘Why do white people have higher IQs than Blacks (or Asians) (As they do) ?
As for enriching our culture by importing Asians and Blacks – the truth is we took what we wanted from other cultures in past centuries, and that was not very much, without feeling the need to import immigrants as well.
The West is by a light year the most successful and dynamic culture the world has ever known, and this occurred not just because of the native abilities of the peoples of the West but because of its Christanity. Modern Science and Technology, the Capitalism which has raised hundreds of millions out of poverty, social advances such as the abolition of slavery and modern democracy – both yet to be achieved in islam (which also had access to Greek learning), the incredible flourishing of the arts and of letters seen in the West, the Enlightenment – these are all creations of Christian civilisation.
Excuse me, but what exactly have these other cultures now to offer, apart for their cooking?
Answer: precious little.
