Andy McNab: The BNP have no values

Ex-SAS commando Andy McNab has told Nothing British “the British National Party and Nick Griffin have no values.”

McNab – an ex-Gulf War veteran and best-selling author – first got involved with Nothing British when he heard how the BNP were attempting to auction off books he had written to raise funds for Help for Heroes (a charity of which he is also a patron and donor). He accused Nick Griffin, leader of the BNP, of exploiting the honour of Britain’s Armed Forces and demanded his books back.

In an exclusive to Nothing British, McNab, who was the highest decorated serving soldier in the British army, that he joined the forces to get out of trouble. “I joined up because I wanted to get out of the juvenile detention system”, says McNab.

“It wasn’t until I got into boy service ’til I realised what it was all about. There was a system of values that was constantly instilled in their soldiers. Selfless committment. Courage. Discipline. Integraty. Loyalty. Respect for others. These are things that may seem as ‘old fashioned values’ but they are the very things that gets a young soldier to get up, run through fire and pick up his friend who is injured.”

McNab said that Nick Griffin’s exploitation of something that he “values a lot” made him very angry. The former SAS troop sergeant said points out how the freedoms we enjoy today can also be attributed to the thousands of Commonwealth troops who helped defend us during the Second World War.

The BNP’s “Battle of Britain” European election campaign drew heavily on the use of war time imagery, but the Bravo Two Zero hero draws attention to an obvious omission throughout the BNP’s revisionist history, namely the Polish and Commonwealth Air Crews who came to our rescue during our darkest hour of need. “That is why we won the Battle of Britain and as a country that is why we are so good because we have got such a good mix. And Nick Griffin doesn’t get that.”

It’s a very sad day when we see such hatred and agression based on race, colour and religion.

I’m not backing the extremists, that would be madness. But tarring everyone with the same brush isn’t the answer… there are extremists in all cultures/religions/races!

How can anyone vote for a man who was once quoted saying on national TV “Ideally, I’d like them [non-whites] all out of the country”?

    It’s a very sad day indeed…

So there’s nothing british about the BNP? Well the name’s british for a start!

Questions for Andy McNab/Simon Weston: If the lads named on the war memorial in, say, Blackburn were able to walk the streets today, do you think they’d look around at the houses once populated by their friends and family, now taken over by the hoards from Asia, and say “Yes, this is what we fought for”?
Do you think they’d see 90% of our laws decreed in Brussels and merely rubber-stamped by our puppet parliament, and say “Yes, we fought for this too”?

No need to answer, they’re kind of rhetorical questions. Shame on you for taking the Tories shilling. Long live England, God save the Queen.

TG – I just commented on the cut and paste quote you left on another forum on this site. Please engage with the topic.

British soldiers don’t fight and die for Britain to be turned into a country riven by hate, racism or sectarianism. And widening the discussion, they don’t fight and die for tragi-comic economics.

There is nothing British in the way “Andy McNab” denigrated his dead colleagues of Bravo Two Zero.

I find it amazing that this site lambasts a party for lauding our Armed Forces, past and present and yet it uses McNab and the generals as it’s front rank. The Conservative Party have just lost my vote.

‘Taken over by hordes from Asia?’ keep it balanced and check your figures – the UK is still overwhelming caucasian.

I’m pretty sure others on this site will remember what I saw in the Balkans – how petty nationalism and remarkabley twisted thinking led to far-right kill squads and ethnic cleansing.

What the BNP really need to consider is why so many people from across the social and political spectrum are so firmly opposed to them. I’m pretty much what would be described as a ‘WASP’, I’m an ex serviceman and I’m no Tory. Shouldn’t I be exactly the kind of person you’d have thought would be in agreement with you?

But no – I’ve seen first hand how this kind of thinking plays out. I like to think ‘Britishness’ includes such things and decency, restraint, and honour. So far, the BNP has only demostrated that it is pretty much lacking in these areas

    Morning Chaps !
Aussie al got some facts for you…
Islam has no objection to marriages between the Abrahamic religions, there is also no need for conversion to islam. As long as both parties practice their faith correctly its perfectly acceptable, it dosent apply if you marry someone who worships idols or multiple gods. But i see your point as culture and religion become seperated otherwise as a christian you wouldnt eat pork and you would be circumcised as prescribed by the old testament.

Britain has changed there is no denying it. wether you think its for the better or worse, or who you choose to blame for it is up to you. But know this there is no going back. People used to have respect for their neighbours and community. If you look now youll notice there is no shame for a woman to bear a bastard child or to leave her gran to rot in a nursing home. Take a look around and youll notice our Asian cousins dont have children out of wedlock, they take care of their grandparents at home. We could learn a lot from them.

Hi voice of reason. Its OK for them. Their cultures haven’t been systematically destroyed by a government which recognises the rights of every culture but that of its own people.Their cultures have been encouraged and supported by our government. What you complain about is the result of a gradual dismantling of our own values (which obviously you share).

  25. fellist says:

    All this talk of ‘values’.

Cultures are people specific – or they aren’t cultures at all. The universal values of the liberal internationalist regime is what makes them wage war on all alternative cultures and political systems. It’s why the corrupted soldiers of recent decades – who ought only fight for their nation – destroyed Serbia, Iraq (twice), and Afghanistan — and all for nought as regards any national interest. It’s also what brought such fractious ethnic diversity to Britain, and in its wake terrorism, race-murder, thousands of Pakistani/Bangladeshi gang rapes of English schoolgirls, and on and on…

All because ‘tolerance’ won’t tolerate the idea that the White and Muslim peoples of the world are entitled to their own countries and to live as they like.

  26. Giles says:

Fellist is talking absolute rubbish. Cultures are not people (peoples) specific!!! If so, why is the most popular dish in this country Curry? Cultures develop and shape with time, their identity is tenuously linked to place -yes- to people – yes – but they are not set in stone.

I love being English/British/European. I’m wholly proud of being British and what we have exported to the rest of the world – railways, our legal system, democracy, a sense of fair play, cricket, overall a very long list. I’m even more proud of British tolerence. I love living in a city where there are more people from different backgrounds than any other city in the world (London). I love the fact I can go to a Polish shop, a Ghanian supermarket and have some Brazillian food all on the road leading home, and that there are people from around the world on my doorstep -it makes it a brilliant place to live in.

However, what I hate are the people who pander to illogical, ill-founded fears perpetrated by the BNP about my neighbourhood. There are no preferential housing lists in my area (I live with a high ranking council housing official who would know) and yet the BNP insist there are. There is no preferential treatment of any individual by my local council and yet the BNP lie that there is. They lie to create a problem that they say they can solve, yet offer facile solutions that bear no relationship to reality.

They foster differences between the community that should not exist. I talk to the guy in my corner shop because he’s interesting, hard working, yet my neighbour refuses to because of where he comes from. My neighbour, who is long term un-employed, whose house and benefits are paid for by my taxes complains about him opening up a shop here, and yet has done nothing in his life to get off his arse and open up a shop on the same site that was derelict for years (and just to be clear, my friendly shopowner did not receive a penny of official help to do this). When I see kids on my estate and visiting friends say, ‘what have these kids to look up to’ I know which direction I point to.

The BNP are not British. They don’t represent anything but lies and falsehood.

    WTF hope youre well.
Honour killings are an abhorrent practice alongside female circumcision.
This is where the culture and the faith become confused and some “muslims” think its accepable to mutilate women as an ancient cultural practice. If you think the koran wants your daughter to have her clitoris severed and her vagina sewn up you are seriously screwed up.. Its common practice in Somalia and surrounding countries.
The fact of the matter is any form of body modification is forbidden by islam as the belief is to alter the body to beautify it is an insult to the creator who made you in his own image. So tattoos are forbidden as well as scarrification and piercing (ancient pre islamic practices) I dont practice islam but i have a good working knowledge of it and ive got a decent translation at home (couldnt learn arabic its bloody confusing reading right to left and starting at the back of the book)

But I believe – from memory – that it links to a mainstream newspaper article putting the figures in the thousands. I may have the wrong link, if so I’ll provide the source for my claim later when I have proper access to a PC.

As I explain here I am very reluctant to draw these kinds of conclusions, but the sheer volume of crimes makes it impossible not to speak of a particular problem linking Islam and gang-rape of European girls and women. Nobody would be expected to ignore such a problem were the races of victim and perpetrator groups reversed — indeed, it would be a worldwide scandal.

I cant believe you think everything is slewed in my favour. Im sorry that you feel everything has been taken from you. I would be the first to fight for you to regain what you feel youve lost. But if that means Bowler hats and brollys and all white britain i cant help. But if it means the decimation of british industry by successive governments, the dissolution of societys standards and morals etc im behind you… No im in front of you.

reasonable voice, you could demonstrate your reasonableness by not trying to obscure anti-English gang-rapes on this blog. You might also take yourself to establishment party websites and condemn them for funding, consulting with, and tolerating ethnic- and race-based organisations for all but whites and the English, whose organisations they attack, denounce as racist and try to close down.

Being reasonable cannot mean spending all your time trying to undermine an organisation that objects to these racist double standards. That can only be called ‘racist’.

Look bottom line she was violated in the most disguisting way by MEN! Black white yellow mixed or whatever MEN! They should be brought to Trial and sentenced accordingly in a way no more or less severe than anyone else, If its found to be a racially motivated thing then slap that on the charge sheet too. I dont care which way it cuts. Racism is vile and Rape is vile.

The black farmers union isnt aiming to deport white farmers and make them second class citizens.
The black police association will actually let you join.
My local Bengali society thing used to let us go there on a saturday and eat all the delicious food (myself and several white friends)
Can i come to your red white and blue festival next year? will i recieve a warm and cordial welcome? I love England, I am English, I support my country by paying taxes and cheering them at football and cricket!
Youd sooner let a French prick in like Le Pen, than any one of the millions of Englishmen of colour. Thats where your arguement falls on its arse.
Be ready next year im bringing bus loads of people to your festival. You can hold my hand and we’ll dance round the maypole.

This is merely an assertion that the English are not an ethnic group as standardly defined. It’s the exact form of racism that got Griffin his loudest round of applause on Question Time. I’m not sure you realise just how much it grates with the average Englishman that people like you try to define his people of out existence.

    ***

The BNP might consider the a tiered structure for their future membership policy, like some of these BPAs:

    Red Squirrel on BPAs

I quote a journal article about the development of the first BPA at my blog:

“Membership of the new association was inclusive, offered to black and Asian officers and support staff.”

You get an idea how ingrained these double standards are when academics dryly describe a policy that excludes white people as ‘inclusive’.

But enough of BPAs: there are business associations, housing associations, advocacy groups, charities, on and on… Trevor Phillips even sat on the board of an employment agency that only hired non-Whites while he was head of the CRE!

Anyone who denies the racist double standard in play when the one organisation devoted to White people becomes establishment enemy no.1 simply because it dares do for us what hundreds of other organisations do for others is not an honest man; and if his lies are not motivated by racism, then what?

Now going back to what i said none of these groups or the membership act to the detriment of the organisation. Ive been next door to my neighbour who is a serving policeman and had a stella and a chat. Now the black officers seem to face a unique challenge in their job and he feels its good that they can relate some of the difficulties they face to someone who understands as apposed to someone who just shows empathy. They do a lot of good work for the benevolant fund and police charities too (In his words they punch above their weight)

Now ive considered it all and the reason these groups are in place is because their members form the minority in society or the organisation/charity etc. If we are to believe the BNP hype and the white englishman is going to be outnumbered then Fellist you can have your little focus group for white people. Ive noticed lots of these groups when working abroad. The english golf teams and the expat poker club. some of the wives have little groups too because theyre in the minority and its nice to be around people with whom you share a little common ground..
Are any of theese organisations that infuriate you, a political organisation at all registered as a political organisation under the representation of the people act ??

RV, it is difficult not to think you’re deliberately evading the issue that has been clearly and repeatedly stated: the double standard in response to the many organisations devoted to minority interests vs. the response to the BNP whose similar goals and methods with regard to Whites, specifically the English, Scots and Welsh, is deemed racist.

    But to address your evasions…

Pointing us to yet another individual from the ethnic minorities who’s a noble and self-sacrificing hero is becoming boring. We all here are bright and we all here are aware of the many problem individuals and of the fact that group-relations are the real issue anyway. Still, we can’t help but notice you never draw our attention to one of the problem individuals and suggest that we extrapolate from his case to a position hostile to minorities per se — it’s always a good guy whose case you argue should persuade us to open-ness. In other words, you’re bull****ting us, propagandising us, and trying to con us.

Further, arguing that minority groups have particular concerns but that the majority doesn’t is dishonest and functionally racist — it is another attempt to persuade us to internalise your concerns while not mobilising around our own specific interests; it’s parasitism 101. When you then assert that minority organisations do proportionally more for the nation as a whole than for their ethnically delimited membership I’m inclined to simply let your idiotic comment stand — the readership here excepting Sam Pauli seem mainly to have three digit IQs, so surely they can see your efforts for the nonsense they are.
