Ex-SAS commando Andy McNab has told Nothing British “the British National Party and Nick Griffin have no values.”
McNab – an ex-Gulf War veteran and best-selling author – first got involved with Nothing British when he heard how the BNP were attempting to auction off books he had written to raise funds for Help for Heroes (a charity of which he is also a patron and donor). He accused Nick Griffin, leader of the BNP, of exploiting the honour of Britain’s Armed Forces and demanded his books back.
In an exclusive to Nothing British, McNab, who was the highest decorated serving soldier in the British army, that he joined the forces to get out of trouble. “I joined up because I wanted to get out of the juvenile detention system”, says McNab.
“It wasn’t until I got into boy service ’til I realised what it was all about. There was a system of values that was constantly instilled in their soldiers. Selfless committment. Courage. Discipline. Integraty. Loyalty. Respect for others. These are things that may seem as ‘old fashioned values’ but they are the very things that gets a young soldier to get up, run through fire and pick up his friend who is injured.”
McNab said that Nick Griffin’s exploitation of something that he “values a lot” made him very angry. The former SAS troop sergeant said points out how the freedoms we enjoy today can also be attributed to the thousands of Commonwealth troops who helped defend us during the Second World War.
The BNP’s “Battle of Britain” European election campaign drew heavily on the use of war time imagery, but the Bravo Two Zero hero draws attention to an obvious omission throughout the BNP’s revisionist history, namely the Polish and Commonwealth Air Crews who came to our rescue during our darkest hour of need. “That is why we won the Battle of Britain and as a country that is why we are so good because we have got such a good mix. And Nick Griffin doesn’t get that.”

To refer to your point of me pointing out and highlighting the positive contribution of some and not highlighting the negative is that not simply the same tactic employed by the bnp ? constantly refering to the negative actions of non white people without ever doffing your cap to the many who go about their business every day making a positive contribution to society.

My view is they are fake Nationalists who don’t want real independence, they welcome people who have no tradition of Wales or Scotland & simply want to be a region in the EU superstate, which is neither independence or being a sovereign nation, therefore they are fake Nationalists.

im pretty upset ,the snp are staunchly nationalist,although succesive british goverments have denied us an independance referendum,i dont think we will get one either ,defo not from the tories.the snp are the party in power just now in holyrood ,but i dont think salmond is the guy to take them forward.

Well Sam accepted my point before about the fake nationalism of the SNP, I would also include Sinn Fein though they did vote “No” in the referendum.
I can’t see how they are Nationalists if they want to be part of a EU superstate, there would be no independence.
Surely a Nationalist wants their country to be a sovereign state running its own affairs & not being dictated to by a higher authority.

But prior to that, a nationalist wants his state to be congruent with his nation, i.e. his ethnic group.

If they did it would be a valid question: how can the convenience of take-aways or cheaper labour compensate for even one serious assault, rape or murder that would not have occurred absent the immigration of the populations providing take-away food and cheap labour? But anyway, the answer to your question is no. The BNP go out of their way to talk up not only exemplary individuals from immigrant groups but also supposedly exemplary groups like Jews, Hindus and Sikhs. Griffin even praised Bonnie Greer.
I’m reminded of a radio report on the day following Griffin’s appearance on ‘Question Time’ — the journalist said Griffin had been poleaxed by the questioner from the audience who gave a spiel very similar to yours, RV: ‘I was born here, love Britain, work hard and am a good citizen: what would you do with me?’ In truth Griffin welcomed the comment and made plain that he had no problem with the man or with people like him being in our country. But the bigots didn’t hear that; they know what Griffin stands for and think that this guy ‘exposed’ Griffin for the repatriator he is(n’t).
People’s prejudices blind them to detail, nuance, and even to great big chunks of evidence that they’re wrong.
Just to squeeze the last drops of juice from that guy’s performance, he didn’t merely embarrass himself by revealing his ignorance and prejudice, he also betrayed a casual racism that naturally went un-noticed by the brainwashed crowd.
When he talked about a whip round to send Griffin to the south pole he said it was ‘colourless’ there, meaning white, so Griffin would like it. This is how these racists talk: they are ‘people of colour,’ we are colourless. Never mind the fact that non-Europeans are almost exclusively somewhere between brown and black in skin, hair and eye colour, a few pale skinned east-asians the major exception, while we range far more widely across the spectrum: skin from purest white to deepest brown; grey, blue, green, brown, and black eyes, and all shades in between; and hair that is white, blonde, red, brown and black. What a contrast we present to the rest of the human race! If there’s a ‘people of colour’ it’s us, yet the language has been manipulated to prejudice us all in favour of their phenotype, so much more ‘vibrant’ than the ‘hideously white’ face of Old Britain.
On that point, you may remember the racist celebrations following this years Miss England:
ITN News reported the story like all others with the new Miss England’s race being the primary issue and the factor which made this an especially positive news story. Its reporter claimed that Christie’s non-Whiteness made her a ‘thoroughly modern beauty queen’ – non-Whiteness as contemporary value-in-itself – rarely is it stated so openly. The not-so subtle implication being that the White phenotype is passé and that Whites who would have the beautiful kids of the future should breed out.

I’m absolutely appalled that someone like Andy McNab (a pseudonym) can make sniping remarks about Nick Griffin MEP without even having to justify his remarks, let alone show his face.
Is this the same McNab I saw on YouTube who was positively enthralled by the fact that a young 18 year old British soldier had been but in the unenviable position of having to shoot dead 3 enemy combatants in Iraq. McNab was enthused to the point you’d have thought he was talking about a football match. I was absolutely sickened and appalled.
Never one to shy away from the media…may I suggest that if he wants to criticise Nick Griffin, why doesn’t he arrange for a live TV debate.
I was one of the BNP activists at the Catterick Garrison day of action (see http://www.bnp.org.uk) recently and we received even more support than last time we were there, with many serving personnel making serious membership enquiries.
Also, at the BNP’s Red White and Blue family festival we had the Help for Heroes charity tent there.
The BNP says bring our boys home now. Nothing British about the BNP eh!

Not only is McNab banned from Hereford he is despised by ALL his former comrades! as a former troopy myself he tells a good although fictional story about many things. However, as Andrew Fowler has writen, more and more of our service personnel are getting sick and tired of being treated as second class citizens in their own country whilst the immigrants get all the benefits paid hand over fist, and priority for ex servicemen, women and widows trying to obtain housing, benefits or help of any kind is put in file 13. They do not have the support of Government departments dedicated to squandering tax payers money on spongers! they will look to the BNP for support.
