I too resent the destruction of what survived the war, usually done in the name of progress but really to make some people very rich & for the PC agenda wiping out our heritage to make us look worthless & not worth saving, all the easier to replace us.

All the bombing of WW2 was nothing in comparison to the cultural marxist destruction which has taken place in this country from Wilson onwards. Ever been to Rouen? It was bombed out in the War and rebuilt exactly as it was before the War. Nothing like that for England post-war. Just a hate fest of trendy architects ruining our sky lines with their foul social engineering.

yep i visited my home town and theyd torn down our old scientific institute(beautiful victorian mock Gothic building) only to tarmac the site and have parking for 30cars?? The same council tore down an edwardian Eye infirmary paid for by deductions from the local steelworkers pay over the years and replaced it with…………..A big blue ALDI hangar type affair.

Ive had a little afghan excursion in my youth. I followed the ancient silk road route and little bits of Alexanders route to india. It took me through the Khyber pass and up to china and all the stans. It was nothing short of amazing and im doing it again soon.(once it calms down a bit) The russians had just left afghanistan when i went through so it was peacefull(by afghan standards) But kandahar and kabul were flattened. Shame really as it was described as beautiful by alexander.. Bombs dont just kill people they destroy historical treasures which in a way is worse.
