QT countdown: Baroness Warsi to take on Nick Griffin

Sayeeda Warsi

Sayeeda Warsi, the Conservative’s Shadow Community Cohesion Minister, is to take on Nick Griffin during QT.

We believe that Sayeeda will be an excellent choice. She is intelligent, from Yorkshire, eloquent and both her grandfathers fought for Britain during the Second World War.

  1. Sayeeda Warsi, is not the right person to take Nick Griffin on. She ticks all the right boxes sure. But I have never been impressed with her television appearances. Nick Griffin whatever yo uthink about his views is a clever lad and a Okish communicator. The boy for the job is William Hague. Some will argue that such a senior Conservative appearing will only flatter the BNP. But the Conservatives need someone who in turn is a good communicator

  2. Point taken Clive. But after comments in the Radio 1 interview about a black footballer’s “Britishness” or lack of the same, Baroness Warsi will be ideally placed to put Griffin on the spot about how he sees her Britishness. I wonder in Griffin will now kiss off, or delegate the job to an expendable underling.

I’m a little surprised at this, she’s an especially poor communicator, inarticulate and stumbling, frequently mangling the english language. If she wasn’t asian she’d get a lot of the stick that went Prescott’s way.

It looks like the panel is stacked so as to play on our symapthy. Griffin will be asked again and again why he ‘hates’ people like Greer and Warsi. I really won’t be surprised if some mention is made of gas chambers and the possibility that under a BNP govt. people like Warsi might end up in one.

I had never heard of this woman, but it took me less than five minutes to find out the following:

    1. In her unsuccessful campaign for a Commons’ seat in 2005 she had the support of Lord Ahmed, supposedly a Labour peer. So where does her loyalty lie – and his come to that? To the party or the religion?

    2. Although born in England she has worked for the Pakistani Ministry of Law. So, does she think of herself as English or Pakistani? This question is more pertinent when you consider that her marriage was arranged, and she married a Pakistani who was brought over especially for the purpose from Pakistan.

    3. The homosexualist lobby hates her since she supported Section 28 and opposed the lowering of the age of buggery from 18 to 16. Don’t get me wrong: I have nothing against our gay friends as some of my very best friends are rancid little poofs, but I can see plenty of room for Griffin to cause trouble between this bird and the benders’ lobby.

Come on, people, if I can find this out in minutes are you really suggesting that the BNP doesn’t have a dossier on the bird?

By the by, her grandfathers who “fought for Britain,” were they in the Indian Army? Bet they were – from your carefully worded post.

Judging by the language you use, Exlie, you clearly do have a lot against “our gay friends”.

Why it makes any difference if her grandfathers were in the Indian Army I do not know.

I’m not a huge fan of Warsi, but I think she’ll do better than Straw.

  12. Exile says:

Well, it makes an obvious difference in that they are being held up as having fought for Britain. Now, a lot of West Indians joined the British army and many more joined the colonial regiments that served as part of that army. However, the Indian Army was different – Indians joined it and it was only tangentially connected to the British. So they may have been regulars and when India declared war – which the Viceroy did on her behalf – then they found themselves in a match. In other words they were dragged in like lots of others, which is not the same as saying that they sided willingly with Britain.

The point is that I just don’t know, and until I do I will not be shouting out how noble these blokes were in defence of the King-Emperor.

I used to go to rock against racism concerts and support all the ‘right-on’ causes. My grandfather had been a commando war hero. I was happy and proud to be a Brit, a Scot and a European.
Then the militants began falling over themselves to be the most ant-racist and anti-fascist and anti-appartheid and it gradually began to morph into anti-white and anti-prejudice (so long as that prejudice was not against white people).
Then one day I was refused a job because I was white and the boss told me that to my face…..he was white too. Then I was spat at and threatened by gangs of none whites. I had rocks and sticks thrown at me in a park for sun bathing with my shirt off. A park I had been going to for years which had seen an influx of muslim immigrants. Then whilst waiting to view a flat one day a car pulled up with Asians asking me who I was and what I wanted and what I was waiting for. In my own country I was being harrassed by immigrants. Then in the same town I encountered a young man with his ear hanging off and dripping in blood who, when I asked him what had happened, told me, ” … It was P***s in Abdul’s (Abdul’s being a local takeaway) He had been hit in the face with a bottle by a gang of Pakistani immigrants whilst he waited to buy a takeaway from a Pakistani.
Now call me old fashioned but I actually learn from experience. I got mugged by reality. Frankly Asians and blacks who are despised by white people are usually despised for good reason. We didn’t suddenly invent a dislike of people we had hitherto supported on marches as I had done as a young man.
No the reality of the arrogance and aggression and criminality and threatening behaviour of these immigrants and their inherent racism and bigotry against white people made the reality of living with them very very very unpleasant.
There is one kind of white person that these people like….submissive.

Now moving swiftly on to wills tale of woe. If he went to a rock against racism event he missed the point altogether. and i quote “Frankly Asians and blacks who are despised by white people are usually despised for good reason. We didn’t suddenly invent a dislike of people we had hitherto supported on marches as I had done as a young man.” aaaah so youve condemned a whole group of people because of the actions of a few. Funny how ive experienced violence from White english people but havent decided to despise them all. with an attitude like “It was the pakis in Abduls” i bet he opend his big fucking mouth in front of someone who wasnt in the mood for his particular brand of shit. Oh and let me guess he was pissed at the time too! finally
“No the reality of the arrogance and aggression and criminality and threatening behaviour of these immigrants and their inherent racism and bigotry”
