So there’s nothing british about the BNP? Well the name’s british for a start!

Questions for Andy McNab/Simon Weston: If the lads named on the war memorial in, say, Blackburn were able to walk the streets today, do you think they’d look around at the houses once populated by their friends and family, now taken over by the hoards from Asia, and say “Yes, this is what we fought for”?
Do you think they’d see 90% of our laws decreed in Brussels and merely rubber-stamped by our puppet parliament, and say “Yes, we fought for this too”?

No need to answer, they’re kind of rhetorical questions. Shame on you for taking the Tories shilling. Long live England, God save the Queen.

The lads who are named on war memorials didn’t die for us to use democracy to empower hatred.

And tell, what know they of England who only England know?

tailgunner, you appear to be cutting/pasting a standard response – are you finding it difficult to have more than one thought per night?

btw, the words you are trying to (inaccurately) use is “hordes” and “Tories’(possessive apostrophe after the plural s)”- try not to mangle the Queen’s English, please.

btw, are they rhetorical or are they kind of rhetorical?

The lads who died fought wars to keep this country free. They were lions led by donkeys and they might just as well have not bothered! Their sacrifices have been squandered. The freedom for which they gave their lives is now just a memory.
Strikes me there is plenty of hatred in this country and none of it is fuelled by the BNP.Open your eyes.
P.S. Did you really think it was a good idea to quote Kipling in this debate? LOL
Long live England, God save the Queen.

Both of my grandfathers fought to keep Britain free. They have passed on now, and so has the freedoms they fought for. This witchunt against anyone associated with a lawful political party, such as the BNP, is a bloody disgrace.

What a joke this is. Both my father and grandfather fought in the army and are disgusted with the way the UK has become under Labour. Both would rather see the BNP elected than have our country taken over by Islam and 3rd world immigrants.

If the Tories don’t begin to address Islam and immigration I predict many more votes for the BNP.

Oh, by the way, I’ve just read that Hain has sent a public message of support to the UAF for their proposed assault on QT tomorrow night. They are a bunch of rabble-raising,state-sponsored thugs. What were you saying about hatred and democracy Ex soldier?
Hugh, why don’t you get an anti-stab jacket and a red pen and take your missionary marking zeal into our woefully illiterate schools?

Sam come on, your statement is so bigoted. What is the British isles made up of, it is made up of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Yes iam Scottish first, but I am also British as well, there is nothing wrong with that what so ever.

Anyway Sam, have a nice day and enjoy QT tonight, maybe you would like to come to my house and watch it if you are in the Edinburgh area.

It is fascinating that people read bits of posts and then frame a riposte whilst not understanding the point. Firstly MLJ it is quite sensible to quote Kipling when making the point (as many critics accept) that England is much more than a narrow racist rendering. The British state (including England) is many faceted; much of our language is indeed stolen from other languages – soldiers regularly used (in my day, admittedly a fair while ago) words like gildy, doolally, bunduk, mukkagee, puttee and khaki. None of these are english words. Secondly MLJ, despising the politics of the BNP doesn’t make me a fan of the UAF, anymore than supporting the BNP (whose supporters at a number of demos give nazi salutes) makes someone a fascist supporter of a regime which gassed millions of people…oh hang on a mo…

I think it might be the Portobello Road which coincidently is near Westbourne Grove & the Notting Hill set & James Howarth of Westbourne (communications) who lept to Maurice’s defence early this evening!
    Small world eh?
