John Yates: Britain faces a neo-Nazi terror threat

Neo-Nazi terror is a serious threat John Yates, assistant commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, told MPs that Britain faces an increasing threat from neo-Nazi extremists operating as “lone wolves”.

Mr Yates warned of right-wing extremists operating alone, without an organisational network. He told the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee: “What we have seen in recent years is a growth around some far-right extremism movements.”

Mr Yates, responding to a question from David Winnick, a Labour MP who asked him about racist and fascist groups who turned to violence, said the police were seeing the emergence of “the lone wolf”. “That is something we take extremely seriously and we make sure we balance our resources to deal with that threat.”

it now appears that the US army major who went on that killing spree, was motivated by extremism , hatred and religious bigotry. The media try and say he was under stress. vor , stop defending the indefensible just because you share the same religion.

It is about time muslims stopped with the persecution complex, and tried to constructively engage with other communities in this world of ours.

Lets not play the tally game its stupid. But are we going to count loyalist paramilitaries with links to the BNP as terrorists ? the body count might end up being higher on the side of “Neo Nazis” if we do. because i can only think of glasgow and 7/7 with a body count of less than a hundred. Hmmm how many have the uda/udf etc killed? As they say in the advets HERES THE SCIENCE
Have the loyalist groups targeted civilians?
Yes—and more frequently than the IRA. Between 1968 and 1998, loyalist paramilitaries killed an estimated 864 civilians (most of them Catholic), compared with an estimated 728 civilians (most of them Protestant) killed by the IRA. Experts say loyalist groups have often acted out of religious hatred, while the IRA has more often targeted British security officers—killing more than 1,000 of them—in an effort to further its political goal of ejecting the British from Northern Ireland

  6. The significance, AussieAl, is that if the Neo-Nazis have any brains, they will be looking to forge links with other enemies of the British establishment on the principle of my enemy’s enemy, just as the IRA did. The IRA also bought arms for and received arms from terrorist groups from other countries to complicate any trail that might lead back to them or any other member of the conglomerate.

“Lone Wolves” surely by their very nature have nothing much to do with the BNP or anyone for that matter.
I think David Copeland & that white gunman at Finsbury Park fit that description.
These two may have had some connection with the BNP but went it alone probably because they felt the BNP weren’t radical enough or near power to do anything.
The black gunmen in Finsbury Park are something else.

how mant tory’s have been implicated in nefarious doings (mark thatcher for one) over the years, but that does not mean that the Tory party is implicated in the said actions.

to tarnish a entire legitimate political party on the reputations of a few individuals, again shows the depths the denigrators of the BNP are prepared to tumble in order to score a point.

    BNP terrorist David Lucas?
OK he looks strange, maybe my idea of Jethro Tull or some such thing, as for the noose’s business a bit of a mistake in my view, though our government has been known to sell weapons & instruments of torture to dubious regimes.
Have to admit I laughed at the video.
But I didn’t think he been convicted of anything yet?

    BNP terrorist Charlotte Lewis
The video proves nothing & if she is a “terrorist” how is she allowed to stand?
I am not quite sure about the medical scientists murder thing, was this to do with animal rights, which is normally a left wing interest?
While I am not keen on animal testing, I think the HLS protests probably went too far with attacking suppliers at their homes & things like that.

A lot of the others, as I have said before, moved on from the BNP & became “Lone Wolves”, did the BNP make them into “Lone Wolves”, did it radicalise them or was it a case of them finding the BNP too tame & making progress too slow for them?

The Roberto Fiore friendship may well be questionable but he is a free man & again a lot of our politicians consort with dubious characters, even the Queen has had to entertain a few!

Ive brought up a valid point about loyalist terrorists supported by the BNP and it has become the elephant in the room not radical islamic terrorist attacks. Im ready to talk about it all in an impartial and considered way. lets go. But will someone please accept that loyalist terrorists have killed more people in Britain than islamic terrorists? Or are you going to say that NI isnt britain in which case you should join Sinn Fein. Dont deny the links between the BNP and loyalists either because its common knowledge the BNP orchestrated and organised the riot at Lansdowne road along with other elements under their umbrella such as C18.

AA the post i made made reference to people killed by the IRA.
The UVF’s 1969 bombing of a power station near Belfast. Initially attributed to the IRA, this attack also helped trigger the Troubles.
The UVF’s 1971 bombing of a Belfastpub, which killed fifteen people.
A pair of UVF bombings in Dublin and Monaghan, both in the Republic of Ireland, on May 17, 1974, that killed thirty-three civilians, making this day the deadliest of the conflict.
There are 3 bombs by loyalist paramilitaries, I havent included pipe bombs as the list would be huge.
heres a brief outline of bnp links to loyalist terrorists. I can bring more to the party such as loyalist distributing official bnp leaflets in NI.
The BNP’s top fundraiser is today exposed as a militant anti-abortion campaigner with links to a Loyalist killer and a string of criminal convictions.

Jim Dowson is a former Orangeman who featured on a tape of flute band music supporting murderer Michael Stone.

He was also the face of a hardline pro-life organisation who posted names and addresses of pro-choice MSPs and a family planning group boss on the internet.

Dowson, of Cumbernauld, near Glasgow, is now a key aide to BNP leader Nick Griffin.

Griffin appointed Dowson as the party’s money man and campaign organiser for their attempt to win seats in tomorrow’s European Parliament election.

Dowson’s past activities fly in the face of BNP attempts to paint the group in a more moderate light and be seen as a serious political party.

In a recent blog, Griffin praised Dowson for his help in getting their party political broadcast aired on Channel Five.

Griffin wrote: “This was just one of a huge number of extras that Jim Dowson threw in on top of all his other super-human efforts.”

There you have it aa both of my points proven.

We have also worked out that the IRA has similar objectives to the bnp in that it wants self rule and an end to government by the occupiers who bring an alien faith to thir catholic country.

this government wants to increase our population from 22 million now to 35 million in a few decades. Well, are they going to continue past mistakes made here and in Europe and do it without consulting the people? I would like to see a fair debate on the issue, without being derided as racist, especially when i favour immigration in the future to be mainly European in origin.

Like Noahs Ark, we have some of everyone here and now is the time to rebalance the equation and keep us primarily European. However i have no objection to educated and skilled people from other countries, just not in the numbers that their unskilled compatriots have been arriving here.

Kudos to AussieAl up there and any others that see the same as him. I totally agree with him. It’s not neo nazi’s and suggested fascists that you should be worrying about it’s Islam. You might like to think that it’s just a few muslims doing these terrible things but believe me, come the day they are called to arms, they will follow whoever tells them to. We have seen perfect examples of this all over the world. One night sitting there as friends with other religions and the next slitting their friends throats. They must not, under any circumstances, be trusted, not in the slightest. You also have to ask yourself why parties like the BNP are becoming more and more popular, it’s down to inefficient governing. Sit back and enjoy the ride, we are going through one of the most exciting times in politics and these times will go down in history. If you check back history, this has happened before, over and over, it’s simply history repeating itself.

As for an increase in the popularity of the BNP its simply not true. The seat won by Dick griffin was due to a poor turnout in the euro elections.(they actually got less votes then last time) A more correct indication would be the glasgow by eilection where they got less than 5% of the vote.

But 5 israeli guys recording it from the roof of a van whilst cheering added to the dumping of american airlines stock by short selling before the attacks happened makes me suspect everyone. I don’t want to make you more paranoid MLJ, but they’re probably being rerouted through ‘RAF’ Menwith Hill so that the boys of the NonSuchAgency can peruse them before handing them over to Ministry of Idiocy 5 who then post them up. I could be wrong of course. ;o)

Aussie Al:”Why dont the opposers of the BNP debate the merits of mass immigration for a start?”

Because they would be forced to address the opposite side of the coin Al. If they were forced to debate the ‘merits’ of uncontrolled mass immigration they would also have to debate the negative aspects of such a policy as that implemented by the mental giants of NuLabuh.

Which means they might have to answer some very awkward questions.

And it is also pretty difficult to come up with any positive aspects of the migrants we seem to have here. Most are not interested in assimilating into our society at all; they just want to transplant their way of life here and have us pay them to inflict it upon our lives.
Enough is enough. Vote BNP and end this nightmare.

“Diversity” is one of those words designed to absolve you of the need to think. Likewise, a belief in “multiculturalism” doesn’t require you to know anything at all about other cultures, just to feel generally warm and fluffy about them.”

Whilst in return they are absolved from feeling ‘warm and fluffy’ about their infidel hosts.

    You arent wrong.
Send yourself an e-mail with some flag words in (try bomb tatp president allah republic ira iraq Helmand)
Send yourself another e-mail from your work mail to your home one
saying “put the dinner on ill be home in 20 mins”

Now when you get home look at the order in which the e-mails arrive…
the first one arrives after the second one, cause its been taken out and read as it contains flags.
I did this many years ago and was astounded. Not as astounded by the visit i was paid by some people wearing very shiny shoes asking why i visited Iran/Afghanistan/Pakistan before 9/11. Good to know someones watching but ive said i before. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Hypocrits, we spill our blood to give democracy to ragheads in Afganistan, who dont want it anyway, and they refuse us the same rights here.

Is that the democracy from the fixed election this time? Or the democracy from the last election which made Dostan (the Uzbek warlord) the defence minister, because he once came first in a throat slitting competition. I am still regularly amazed by your stupidity, you believe pretty much anything thats fed to you it seems. You and your chums arent fighting to make the world a better place for anyone. Youre too naive to realise you are fighting to make people MONEY in energy contracts that were signed long before the democracy story was spun. Keep at it though (i may buy some shares in a gas company in Turkmenistan)

I managed to get in there years ago (It was still run by USAF at the time) by the simple expedient of climbing aboard the American families bus in Harrogate intending to get off at the gate and walk the mile or so down the road to HMS Forest Moor where I was stationed. Being pissed I naturally fell asleep until somedoy gave me a nudge and we were inside the base. I went to their PX where I had several more ales and some scoff (Their prices were superb BTW) and then staggered off through the gate and down the road no questions asked! Fucking unbelieveable!
