About
Like most ordinary working people, we are concerned by the rise of British National Socialism, whose racist and intolerant values are inimical to those of Britain.
The election of two members of the British National Party to the European Parliament in June 2009 was a shock to the system, but it was also a wake up call to anyone who thinks you can confront neo-fascism by leaving it to others and ignoring the causes.
It is time for decent people to step up and be counted in the fight against neo-facists before their poison seaps through the fabric of British society.
The Nothing British campaign gives people that chance. Nothing British is a campaign against the politics of hate which aims to promote the British values of democracy, tolerance, fair-play and respect for one another.
We hope you will join.
What do we believe?
- We believe in addressing the concerns of those people who feel alienated from their society by government failures on issues like immigration, Europe, religious extremism and job insecurity. This means campaigning for policies that work.
- We believe in standing up to the BNP’s politics of racism and intimidation. This means providing fair and balanced rebuttal of the BNP’s message.
- Lastly, we want to reach out to the kinds of people who are thinking of voting BNP, whether they are fed up, worried about their country or they just want to throw a stone at the government. This means explaining to people in a language they understand why Nick Griffin’s BNP stands for a nasty neo-facist ideology that has no place in modern Britain.
Failure to deal with this issue of a rise of British Nationalism could lead to racism and intolerance becoming part of the fabric of British society.
