Friday, August 21st, 2009

Racism re-energised:

An ultra-nationalist group, the English Defence League, which has links to the BNP, plans to hold a “memorial” protest outside a mosque in Harrow on 9/11.

This is potentially evidence of non-BNP racist groups becoming more energised by the success of the BNP in June.

BNP at popular show:

Attendees of the popular agriculture event the Vale of Glamorgan show were angered by a BNP recruitment stall at the show. Nothing British believes that unless more is done to combat the BNP this is something that people will have to get used to as the BNP become a larger presence in British politics.

BNP in spat with Mail:

The Daily Mail have reported that a teenage BNP supporter who was found guilty of racially aggravated harassment last month after he drove a girl to the brink of suicide has escaped going to jail.

The story has created a spat between the Daily Mail and the BNP. Lee Barnes, the BNP’s legal director, and Nick Griffin have publically has refuted the Mail’s story, denying the child is a member of the BNP and calls the article a Daily Mail “smear” against the BNP. However, the Daily Mail states that police sources state that the boy, “supported the racist party and said he had tried to enlist other pupils to the cause.”

More importantly, this incident shows how the BNP’s recent successes help it enter the fabric of British life, even in schools.

UPDATE: Church of England rejects BNP understanding of the Bible

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

CofE_logo_belongingThe Church of England have been speaking to Nothing British about the BNP’s The Christian Council of Britain.

A spokesman for the C of E  who said: ” The Church of England does not share what appears in this case to be a very particular interpretation of the scriptures.”

“As the Archbishops of Canterbury and York said on 24 May, ‘Christians have been deeply disturbed by the conscious adoption by the BNP of the language of our faith when the effect of those policies is not to promote those values but  to foster fear and division within communities, especially between people of different faiths or racial background.’”

BNP “Christian Council” uses God to justify racism

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

The “Christian Council of Britain” is a pseudo-religious organisation run by the racist “Reverand” Robert West the BNP’s vicar.

The BNP quote from the bible to justify their politics:

“It is the will of God that the one race of mankind be divided into nations or descent groups with each having its own homeland where its interests, identity and values can be protected, upheld and promoted (Genesis 10: 5, 32; Acts 17: 26-27) .  This right is claimed by all nations of the world who have used this right to promote their own independence in their own countries.  In the British people now claiming this right for themselves they would appear not to be out of step with both the Word of God (the Holy Bible) and all the other ethnic groups that, by the Will of God, make up the world.”

Rev. West then goes on to claim that calling the BNP racist

“… is misconceived in that the British National Party has no racist foundation, or ambition to displace or replace any nation, or ethnic group, from their own historic and national homeland; indeed the British National Party is striving for the integrity of the British people in their own homeland.”
